Operating in AD mode, the device can drive up to two 315W/4R loads and two 150W (unclipped power)/8R loads at 1.5% THD, and features a 2 VRMS analogue input interface for seamless connection to high-performance DACs such as TI\'s PCM5242.

In addition to high audio performance, the TPA3255 also combines high power efficiency and ultra-low power-level idle losses (less than 2.5W).

This is achieved with 85mR MOSFETs and an optimized gate driver scheme, which significantly reduces the idling loss.

High-density pure aluminum heat sinks, which dissipate heat faster for the same volumes.
